 Welcome to the Library Guide to Europe! In this guide, we will be exploring     the  fascinating continent of Europe, learning about its geography, history,     culture,  and   landmarks.

  Europe is a continent located in the northern hemisphere, and it is made up of    many  different countries, each with its own unique history and culture. Some      of the most well-   known countries in Europe  include France, Germany, Italy,    Spain, and the United  Kingdom.

  As you explore this guide, you will discover that Europe is a place of great          diversity, with a  rich history and culture that has shaped the world we live in        today. From the ancient Greeks  and Romans to the  Renaissance, from the Age of Exploration to the World Wars, Europe has played a pivotal role in shaping human history.

Whether you are interested in the art and music of Europe, its famous landmarks and tourist attractions, or its many different cultures and traditions, this guide will provide you with a wealth of information and resources to help you learn more about this amazing continent.

UKRAINE

Ukraine is a country in Eastern Europe with diverse geography, including steppes, forests, mountains, and coastline on the Black Sea. Ukrainian folk music and dance are popular, and traditional dress is elaborate. Ukrainian cuisine includes dishes such as borscht, varenyky, and salo. Ukraine celebrates many festivals and holidays throughout the year.

Sweden is also famous for its Scandinavian design, music, l     iterature, and cuisine, which includes meatballs and cinnamon buns. The country is home to many famous landmarks   and attractions, such as the Vasa Museum, the ABBA Museum, and the Ice Hotel. Sweden also has a reputation for   being  environmentally conscious and socially progressive, making it an interesting subject for research by 6th graders.
