School Library Journal RSS Feed

What is RSS? RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. Also called web feeds, RSS is a content delivery vehicle. It is the format used when you want to syndicate news and other web content. When it distributes the content it is called a feed. You could think of RSS as your own personal wire service.

EBooks

  • Google EBookstore
The google ebookstore is one more way to get great stuff on your electronic reading device--computer, smart phone, or dedicated e-reader. The materials cannot currently be used on the Kindle, because Amazon uses their own proprietary system instead of the standard format. There's LOTS of free content here!
  • Project Gutenberg
"Project Gutenberg is the place where you can download over 33,000 free ebooks to read on your PC, iPad, Kindle, Sony Reader, iPhone, Android or other portable device."
