Databases are collections of published articles, scholarly papers, research etc. that are made available online. The information in databases has been edited and fact-checked. Databases contain accurate, reliable, and timely information.

Poetry for Students
Browse the shelves in the non-fiction section, and you might find some interesting stuff in these numbers:
BIO (look for your subject alphabethically)
808-809 (broad category about poetry; includes drama)
811-813.5 (usually books of poems by a specific poet)
Remember: when you search the library catalog, if you are looking for books BY your poet, do an author search with the author's last name first. If you are looking for books ABOUT your poet, do a keyword search with your poet's name--first name first.
