Assignment

The Question:

Does this person adhere to Aristotle’s definition of a tragic hero? Is he/she the architect of his/her own demise or a victim of fate/social forces outside of his/her control?  It may be interesting for you to consider if your research subject receives redemption. Did he/she deserve it? In the words of renowned author F. Scott Fitzgerald: “There are no second acts in American lives.” You should consider: does your tragic hero get a second act?  Should he/she?
